Convallaria took keen hold early, held up in last pair, hampered over 2f out, progress over 1f out, driven and stayed on well to lead last stride
Solicitude dwelt, held up in midfield, progress against far rail over 2f out, driven ahead inside final furlong, headed post
Charmel´s Lad dwelt, held up in rear, ridden over 2f out, progress over 1f out, stayed on to take 3rd near finish
Overstayed led at decent pace, 3 lengths clear 3f out, hung left from over 2f out, tied up and headed inside final furlong
Guildenstern took keen hold early, tracked leaders and raced wide, tried to close from 2f out, one pace and never quite got there
Thabaat dwelt, took keen hold early, held up in rear, driven and progress 2f out, no impression on leaders final furlong
Hollow Jo held up in last pair, ridden and no progress over 2f out, modest late headway
Filemot chased leading pair, ridden well over 2f out, faded over 1f out
This Ones For Pat steadied start, took keen hold and soon chased leader, ridden to try to close from 2f out, weakened final furlong
Scruffy Skip chased leaders, under pressure over 2f out, no real impression over 1f out, weakened
Kara Tau went right start, held up towards rear, badly hampered over 2f out, not recover, tailed off
CONVALLARIA had looked a handful when hanging badly right over 1m here last time, but she travelled smoothly under exaggerated waiting tactics here and stuck her neck out to just get up close home. She has some quirks, but can travel and quicken at this level when in the mood and is best when produced off a strong pace at 7f.
Solicitude was unlucky to be mugged close home but is tremendously consistent and could gain compensation for this defeat in a similar race next time.
Charmel's Lad can pull hard and hang but stayed on well from off the pace and seems to have found some improvement with a tongue-tie reapplied. His profile is fairly patchy, but he could build on this with the equipment back on next time and may be able to get off the mark off his rating.
Guildenstern lacked the necessary pace over 6f the last twice but was more competitive stepped back up in trip.
Kara Tau was badly hampered on the far rail in the straight but did not seem to be going particularly well at the time.
